- Writing Facilitator and Coach for Novice Teachers
- Summary: Worked with a group of new teachers and instructed them in National Writing Project strategies.
- Student Council Adviser
- Summary: I worked with administration, students, staff, parents and community member to create events that would change the culture of the school!
- Secretary of School Site Council
- As secretary of our School Site Council I was in charge of sending invitations for each meeting to all members, taking minutes as well as assisting my principal in budget presentations/decisions.
- Facilitator of Parent Workshops
- My big leadership project was a series of parent workshops on the ELA Common Core Standards. My goals for the workshops were to educate parents and provide them with tools to assist their children as well as to improve parent engagement at my school.
